Welcome to the 2003 National Convention theme and special awards page. We considered many themes when
putting our bid together. Our goal was to pick a theme that included as many model disciplines as possible,
thereby giving almost every modeler an opportunity to participate in the theme competition. In short, we couldn't
come up with an all-inclusive theme, so we decided to do three!
The purpose here is to give you information to compete for our themes and special awards. Currently, we supply
the definitions. In the future, there will be photos to further assist you and cut down on the research time involved
in some of the themes. So check back often. While the "Trek For The Stars" is self explanatory, I doubt many of
you are familiar with the many Oklahoma Aces we take so much pride in Oklahoma. We won't be able to do
everything for you, but we'll get you started so you can compete for these special awards.
The purpose of all this is to increase participation in our themes and special awards. I hope this page is of help to
you.
