IPMS METRO OKC - Club News - March Meeting

We had a great turnout for March. A count wasn't taken, but I would estimate at least 18 to 20 people showed up. One reason surely was the discussion regarding amending the club Constitution and Bylaws. Nearly everything was decided upon with the exception of three to be re-worded. These three items were held over until the next meeting to allow everyone time to decide what they want to do. I'll be sending the C&BL revisions per email like last time soon for all the review.
It has been suggested that the C&BLs be posted on our wen site. A vote will be taken after the amendment process is finished.
Several folks brought models to the meeting but due to the agenda, I didn't have time to make notes. If you brought a models to the meeting please e-mail me with the information and I'll post it here.
Greg Rose gave us an update on SoonerCon. For the first time ever, we will be doing SoonerCon in partnership with the Oklahoma Historical Modelers Society. They have a great bunch of highly talented guys with tons of contest experience, so we are expecting the biggest and best SoonerCon ever this year. We held the usual raffle and lots of people walked away with models and the chapter made a few dollars. It doesn't get any better than that.
